The Story Behind the Formula
Founded in Boulder, Colorado by hiking, skiing, and nature lovers, the team behind this powerhouse Lotion set out to create a product that would stand up to the demands of an active lifestyle in the mountains, including harsh winters, hot and dry summers, and moisture depleting altitudes. We wanted it to perform as a “do-everything-lotion"—to feel as rich as a hand cream, but function as an all over the body lotion. Working closely with our chemist, the original Lotion formula took nearly 60 revisions before it was even ready to test. From there, it made its way into the hands of our valued friends, family, partners, and customers who put it through its paces. Since the original Lotion formula, we’ve kept the rich texture while continuing to refine the formula, adding skincare ingredients from our favorite serums including age defying hyaluronic acid, and plant extracts that act as probiotics on the skin. Truly a labor of love, this long-standing customer favorite has withstood the test of time as our most beloved hydration product.

Lotions are more lightweight and thinner than body oils. Unlike body oils, their lighter consistency allows them to penetrate the skin more easily, resulting in an almost instantaneous soothing and softening feeling. And if your lotion has added anti-aging ingredients, your skin can look younger longer too.
